For as long as I can remember, I have always been drawn to color and pattern.  I began working with art in my mother's gallery at the age of 14 in Shreveport, Louisiana. After moving to Savannah for college, I naturally gravitated towards work in a gallery featuring renowned artist Ray Ellis. After relocating to South Georgia to start a family, I became a partner in Hansen FIne Art where we sold paintings to individuals and businesses.  It is at that time that I began painting...taught by a local artist in Thomasville, Georgia.  Spending part of our time in Savannah over these years, I was able to fine tune my style and gain inspiration often.  My abstract landscapes were sold in a local gallery.  I also began work scouting artists and planning a charity art festival, WAF, in Thomasville.  After a move to the Atlanta area, we now spend all of our vacations and any free time along the coast of the Atlantic, from Hilton Head to Ponte Vedra or St. Augustine...with frequent visits to the Gulf Coast.  The coastline is so inspiring, the color and history breathes art. I now work with the patterns that I love, along with oyster shells that are unique and a shame not to be brought back to life. My abstracts are taken from the marshes and ocean. ENJOY
