A welcome phone call

A few years ago, during a busy day in the shop, the phone rang (as it does), and at the other end was a sweet customer who lives a few hours away from Thomasville.

She had enjoyed her visit with us at our shop the previous holiday season, she said.

Then she continued, "I'm calling because I thought you'd be a wonderful person to ask: when would be the best time to visit Thomasville again this year?"

I have to say that I was chuffed and honored to be asked. I gladly told her about my favorite weekends and events in Thomasville.

Because I knew if they were mine, they would be hers too.

And that was how our curated list of events that appears at the bottom of each week's newsletter was born!

Thomasville is in full swing this time of year, with so much to choose from! So be sure to check out the variety of upcoming options each week. I am constantly updating it.

At our shop, we have a calendar chock full of workshops and pop-up events (so many, I've divided it into two pages on our website!)

These are opportunities to gather for fun, creative times (like the Nativity Collage Workshop) and for shopping unique, locally-created artisan items for gift giving and holiday prep.
