We are the newest stockist for...
... Chalk Paint® decorative paint (including Satin Paint) by Annie Sloan!
Did you see our Instagram reel (which went a tiny, itsy bit viral) that Annie Sloan herself reshared to her stories?
A few weeks ago in my email, my hint to you was that the new product line to the shop was part of the history of our business. And it is indeed ~ I have long been an Annie Sloan fan. I started painting with her iconic products in 2013 and have ever since.
We are so delighted that we are finally able to carry her products and be part of the Annie Sloan family!
It was on that decisive, impactful holiday in the Cotswolds during which the idea for The Hare & The Hart itself was born that I visited Annie’s shop in Oxford, England. I’d actually painted a portrait of an English bulldog (long story, ask me next time you’re in the shop!) for her and dropped it off with her assistant.
Fast forward to today, and I am delighted and honored to carry her high-quality products (including her line of Satin Paint) in our new Annie Sloan atelier at the back of the shop! We were thrilled to receive our opening order within 24 hours of placing it (!!) and are embarking on projects in the shop already.
We also have a FUN collaboration coming up that I cannot wait to reveal, and we will be getting formal training ourselves and will be offering workshops in the next few months!
When I say we were very pleasantly surprised about the speed of delivery of our first order, I mean it! The paints are shipped to us from the distribution center in Nashville, but they are made right there at Annie’s HQ in Oxford, England. Here’s a fun video of them being made!
Therefore, we are also working hard to get all of the products on our website for online ordering and will soon be featured on the “Find Your Local Stockist” page on the Annie Sloan website.
Come in and see all the beautiful colors and products this weekend! If you have a piece begging to be refreshed, now is the perfect time to embark on a restorative project.
