About Lucy in her words: 

My entire life has been full of creative exploration, from lessons with my grandmother as a young child, through college where I minored in fine art, and throughout my adult life. Raised in the foothills of the Smoky Mountains in North Alabama, much of what I paint is the nostalgic memories of growing up in such a beautiful country. 

I work primarily on canvas and paper. I enjoy applying texture to large pieces ~ landscapes and abstracts ~ while finishing them in a variety of varnishes and other mediums. Bold brush strokes and creamy oils are most distinct in my work.

My work has been selected for art shows in Tampa, such as Opus Tampa and the Tampa Bay Lightning Celebration of the Arts, where two of my pieces received awards in 2019. 

I live in Tallahassee, Florida, with my husband JD and my three children.
