I probably won't have a good hair day again until November
“Spring is the time of plans and projects,”Leo Tolstoy, Anna Karenina
Spring has sprung around here, even though "official" spring isn't for a few weeks. How do I know?
Well, here in south Georgia, we get three early signs:
1. Pollen. A thin layer of sticky yellow that coats everything: cars, houses, dogs, our hair. Everything. Time to break out the Visine and Claritin!
2. Humidity. Suddenly, good hair days become few and far between. Honestly, I probably won't have a good hair day again until November!
3. The haze of prescribed fires on the beautiful quail hunting properties that surround us. Surprised that landowners set fire to their land on purpose? Learn more from Tall Timbers Research Station, which is located between Thomasville and Tallahassee in the heart of the Red Hills.

But honestly, these are small prices to pay for the warm weather, sunny skies, and fresh green leaves sprouting on the trees!
For me, another sure sign of spring's imminent arrival is the urge to freshen up our home! Are you feeling that too?
One quick and easy way to add a new spark to your kitchen or your powder room is to change out your tea towels (aka kitchen towels or hand towels).
