A wick trimmer helps prolong the life of your candle and reduces soot, smoke, and creates a much safer burn.
A long wick can "mushroom" and create a large, dangerous flame that burns more wax and shortens the life of the candle.
Before each use, candle wicks should be trimmed to 1/4 inch. The extended length of the wick trimmer enables you to reach down into the candle and the trimmer's tray catches the snapped wick.
